Our charming character period property, built in 1850, has recently undergone a full refurbishment to modernise the Home while maintaining its original warmth and character. With its prime location on Clifton Road, our care home is conveniently situated within walking distance to Rugby town centre, amenities, a large park, and excellent bus and train services.
At the Rugby Care Centre, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for our residents. Our recent improvements include a thoughtfully designed reminiscence lounge, a new cinema room for entertainment, a Serene shop for convenience, an in-house hair salon for pampering, and a sensory room for relaxation. We have also redecorated all areas, and introduced new furnishings and lighting, making the home fully dementia-friendly. We aim to create a safe and comfortable environment where residents can thrive.
As a well-established care home, we are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are equipped to meet the needs of up to 29 residents in 26 separate bedrooms. We warmly welcome residents aged 60 and over who require residential and Dementia care. Our dedicated and compassionate staff are here to provide personalized care, ensuring the well-being and happiness of every resident.

Rugby Care Centre is a specialist Dementia and Residential Care Home. It is a charming character period property built in 1850 and is located on the Clifton Road, and within walking distance to Rugby town centre with all its amenities as well as a large park and is placed near good bus and train services.
Our home features 26 bedrooms, of which 5 are en suite, providing comfort and privacy to our residents. We have distinct dining areas that offer a welcoming space for residents to enjoy their meals together. In addition, we have created spacious communal spaces across 2 lounges, where residents can relax, socialise, and engage in activities.
To enhance the overall well-being of our residents, we have introduced improved facilities, such as a dedicated reminiscence lounge, a new cinema room for entertainment, a Serene shop for convenience, an in-house hair salon for pampering, and a sensory room for relaxation. We have also completed a comprehensive redecoration of all areas, ensuring a fresh and inviting environment. With new furnishings and lighting, our home is designed to provide comfort and create a soothing atmosphere.
Furthermore, our care home offers ample space for community living. Residents have access to a spacious dining room, serviced by a well-positioned and well-equipped catering kitchen. On the ground floor, there are three lounges where residents can unwind and spend quality time with their peers. We also take pride in our secure and serene walled garden, providing a tranquil outdoor space for residents to enjoy at their leisure.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents is of utmost importance to us. All our accommodation is wheelchair accessible, and we have special facilities including assisted baths and showers, hoists, special beds, and pressure-relieving equipment to cater to individual needs. Our home is equipped with a full fire system, emergency lighting, and a call bell system located in each room and throughout the premises, enabling residents to seek assistance from our attentive staff whenever they require it. We want our residents to feel comfortable and confident in calling for help, day or night.
At The Rugby Care Centre, our Home Manager is dedicated to providing the kindest and most comprehensive care to every resident. Our highly trained team is committed to delivering a range of specialist care services tailored to the unique needs of your loved one.
We understand that individualised care is crucial, which is why our personalised care plans take into account not just medical and personal needs, but also dietary preferences, likes and dislikes, religious beliefs, and any suggestions from family members that could enhance their stay with us.
Before making the final decision to move into the Rugby Care Centre, potential residents will be encouraged to spend time there to ensure it is the best place for them. A comprehensive pre-admission assessment will be completed which will concentrate on the person’s needs and wishes.
At The Rugby Care Centre, we pride ourselves on providing a diverse range of food options to cater to residents’ various needs. We partner with Apetito to ensure a wide selection of meals, including soft diets, ethnic dishes, and other specific preferences or dietary requirements.
We take individual dietary needs seriously and cater to specific requirements such as celiac, diabetic, soft diet, vegetarian, vegan, and any special requests that can be pre-ordered.
We actively promote the maintenance of our residents’ normal social network and social activities. Our Serene Personalised Care Plans include recording life history, social connections, hobbies, and preferences for activities. This ensures our staff are aware of these important aspects, allowing us to offer appropriate access to social networks and desired activities.
Our dedicated Activities Coordinator organises a detailed activities programme tailored to their interests and preferences to further enhance our residents’ social engagement.
Our home is a spacious and comfortable community space for the use of the residents with a dining room (serviced by a well-positioned and equipped catering kitchen), three lounges on the ground floor and a safe and serene walled garden to which residents have free access.

Our residents play a significant role in shaping our community. Assisted by suggestions from our residents, our Wellbeing Coordinators arrange an exciting year-round programme of activities. Hobbies, from baking and painting to dancing and chess, are encouraged and enjoyed. Our Residents’ forum provides the perfect platform for those with a voice to be heard.
We are proud to partner with a local minibus company, which is always ready for trips to nearby attractions like shopping centres, theatres, and animal sanctuaries, guided by the interests of our residents.
By truly getting to know each resident, our carers encourage everyone to play an active role in our home’s community. Whether it’s a morning walk, some light gardening, or laying the dining table, we celebrate the simple pleasures of daily life. We also understand the importance of solitude and ensure our residents can enjoy these moments of quiet reflection as much as any other.
Our hospitality team at The Rugby Care Centre is passionate about making mealtimes an engaging and enjoyable part of the day. We serve three meals a day, along with a mid-morning snack and afternoon tea, using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to prepare delicious, seasonal dishes.
We understand the nutritional needs of our residents, creating meals that provide the right balance of nutrition and taste. Mealtimes at The Rugby Care Centre are not just about sustenance; they are social affairs that contribute significantly to our residents’ overall care plan.
Our dining rooms are designed to foster a relaxed and joyous atmosphere. We celebrate birthdays, special occasions, and national festivities such as St George’s Day, Mother’s Day and Guy Fawkes Night with enthusiasm and flair. With built-in music systems for ambiance and dining rooms dressed up in the evening, we create an immersive dining experience that our residents look forward to.
Situated in the market town of Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, Stoneyford is a friendly, purpose-built care home with 17 beds, offering residential and residential dementia care.
This lovely home offers a choice of sitting rooms, dining areas and quiet areas for reflection, as well a sun lounge and chapel. The landscaped garden with its mature trees is a favourite location to relax or socialise with friends and family. All bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair, and local shops and amenities are close by.
The home’s caring team has created an attractive family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat, celebrate and plan special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home.
